2009 ADDYs

So many things to post, but another year has passed and a few more awards to hang on our wall. This year we entered 7 entries into the ADDY’s and left with 8… (We help other firms with their design and they entered a project we worked on). The count broke out to 2 Golds and 6 Silvers. Projects were Andorra Creative Logo (gold), 40 Digits Logo (gold), Galt Consulting Logo, Wacky World Logo, Door Deals Logo, Self Employment in the Arts Poster, Kringle Talk Stationery, and Barnett Davis Dental Holiday Ad. Overall it was a pretty good year and expect to have another one this year.

I will have to say one thing about the event. It was different than any other ADDY awards that I have ever seen. Most memorable, was the quarter trick… I’m glad I wasn’t eating then!

Self Employment in the Arts

Created a branding for the annual SEA event. Project consisted of delivering overall look concept and applying to poster, direct mailer, web, and event program.

Springfield CASA Event Banners

Every year we donate time to one local non-profit. With the time we donated to CASA, we helped build 3 banners for their events.

US Expo Signage and Booths

Four “ADDY” Awards

The former Pyro Advertising (now Andorra Creative) and its owner (Eric Deal) took home Four ADDY Awards at the 30th annual Springfield Ad Club award show known as the “ADDY’s.” All four were silver awards and they were for the following:

Pyro Advertising’s Website in the category of Interactive Media: Website, B to B HTML.
Pyro Advertising’s Stationery in the category of Self Promotion, Stationery Package.
Pyro Advertising’s MYA Furniture BIP (Builder Incentive Plan) logo in the category of Elements of Advertising: Logo.
Eric Deal for Addy 29: Die Another Day in the category of Ad Club Promotion (last year’s Addy Award theme material)

The event was outstanding, ran smoothly and was finished a little earlier than expected -what a treat! Plus, many of our friends, family and current clients were on hand to see the victories – thank you for the support.
